How to crop a Meesho label on a phone
Crop and send a label from a phone
- Get the PDF out of WhatsAppOpen the message, tap the document rather than the preview, and save it to Files (iPhone) or Downloads (Android). Cropping from the in-chat preview sends a re-compressed copy.
- Open the cropper in a real browserVisit pdfcropkaro.com in Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone, sign in, and choose the marketplace tool. In-app browsers inside WhatsApp or Instagram often refuse the file picker.
- Crop one file, not the whole dayChoose the file, keep “Label + invoice separate” on, and set Pages to “First page only” for a test. Download the result while the 30-minute link is alive.
- Send the file, not a screenshotShare the downloaded PDF to the print shop as a document. A screenshot of the label loses resolution exactly where the barcode is dense.
- Check it before it is printedAsk the shop to print one label at 100% and scan it with their own scanner. If it reads, print the rest.
Why phone-only sellers get stuck
The order PDF arrives on WhatsApp, there is no laptop, and the print shop wants a file it can open. Everything in between — unzipping, cropping, choosing a page size — is designed for a desktop. That is the whole problem, and it is solvable: the crop runs on the server, so the phone only has to upload a file and download the result.
Android: Chrome
- Download the PDF from WhatsApp (tap the document, not the preview), then open Chrome.
- Tap “Choose files” — Android opens the Files picker; pick Downloads or the WhatsApp folder.
- Use “Label + invoice separate” and “First page only” for the test, then run the rest.
- The download goes to Downloads. Share it to WhatsApp with the document button, not the photo button.
iPhone: Safari
- In WhatsApp, tap the document → Share → Save to Files.
- In Safari, tap “Choose files” → Browse → On My iPhone → the folder you saved to.
- After cropping, use Share → Save to Files to keep the PDF, then share it from Files.
- Sharing from the browser’s download preview sometimes sends a link instead of the file — always check the shop received a PDF.
Sending it to a print shop without losing resolution
WhatsApp re-compresses images, not documents. Send the PDF as a document and it arrives byte-for-byte; send a screenshot of the label and the barcode is resampled until it stops scanning. Keep the filename descriptive — “labels-2026-10-22.pdf” tells the shop what to print and in what order.
Printing from the phone
- USB OTG to a thermal printer: works on some Android phones with the printer vendor’s app. Treat it as a last resort — the vendor apps ignore the page size more often than not.
- Cloud print / manufacturer apps: fine for A4, unreliable for 4 × 6 thermal rolls.
- The print shop’s machine: the most reliable option for a phone-only seller. Hand over the PDF with the label size written down.
What genuinely does not work on a phone yet
- Very large batches: 20 files and 100 MB per request is the same on a phone, but a 400-page preview will exhaust a mid-range phone’s memory before the server does.
- Thermal driver settings — density, media type, gap calibration — live on the computer that owns the printer, not in the browser.
- Roll calibration cannot be done from a phone at all.

Questions sellers ask
Does cropping work on 4G with a weak connection?
Yes, but the upload is the slow part — a 40 MB label PDF on a weak 4G line takes minutes. Crop at home or on Wi-Fi, then send the output to the shop.
Are my files uploaded from the phone?
Yes. The crop runs on our server, so the PDF is uploaded for that one request, and the temporary output link expires after 30 minutes. It is not a browser-only tool, and no page claims otherwise.
Which browsers work?
Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone are the tested pair. In-app browsers inside WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook often block the file picker — open the site in Chrome or Safari instead.
Can I crop in a WhatsApp in-app browser?
Open the link in the real browser. The in-app browser on both platforms is inconsistent about file uploads, and the download may not reach your Files app.
